「ヨウ素を昆布で摂る場合の目安が載っていました。『食品と暮らしの安全』によりますと、事故が起こったらすぐに昆布・とろろ昆布を一日50g食べはじめ、４日目には20gに減らすそうです。子供はこの半分。」
この記事は1999年に書かれたものですが、「こんなに昆布を食べると障害が出る人もいるから普段から少しずつ食べること」という文章が削除されて拡散しているため、誤解されている方が多いようです。ご注意ください。
記事では、チェルノブイリを上回る大事故を想定し、行政のヨウ素剤が手に入らないときの自衛策として「50ｇのとろろ昆布を食べよう」と提案しています。50gというのは、ヨウ素剤に含まれるヨウ素と同量になる量です。
しかし、ヨウ素の１日摂取基準を考えると、とろろ昆布を２ｇ程度食べただけで１日の許容上限量を超えますから、50ｇを食べ続けると過剰摂取の害が出ると思います。だんだん減らして毎日１ｇまでにしてください。
少量ずつ、継続して、無理せず召し上がってください。
